Everything is Awesome! Reimagining Library UX
Thursday, April 7, 2016, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Colorado Convention Center, Room 707/709/711
Dayton Metro (Ohio) Library (DML) kicked off its citywide capital improvement program with a visionary, interactive, and fun workshop to reinvent the DML user experience. The ideas generated at this workshop translated into real-world library service and facility applications that are being implemented systemwide at DML. Through hands-on work with digital and analog tools (including Legos!), session participants will collaborate, explore, and reinvent the library user experience (UX) for their own libraries.
At the end of this session, participants will:
1: Describe desired objectives and outcomes for the user experience in your own library. 2: Understand characteristics of spaces designed to foster creativity and collaboration. 3: Identify user needs for creative and collaborative learning.
The session organizer(s) identified this session as appropriate for:
Level 1: People with no previous knowledge of the topic.
This session will have: High interaction: facilitated discussion; small group discussion; hands-on activity
