Wednesday, April 6
Get a taste of Denver with local librarians and other PLA colleagues over a delicious meal. The Local Arrangements Subcommittee has graciously arranged dinners in a number of restaurants throughout the city on Wednesday, April 6. Dinners are pay-your-own-way, and space is limited. A sign-up sheet for each of the restaurants will be available at the Local Information Desk in the main lobby of the Colorado Convention Center, near the 14th Street entrances.
From the martini-mixing Cruise Room across from the dining room at McCormick’s, to Pints Pub which is so close to the Denver Central Library it could well be our staff lounge, there is a dining choice to suit all tastes. Some restaurants are within walking distance—and all are an easy taxi ride—from the convention center. If you decide to walk, it’s a good idea to use the buddy system. Denver dining attire is casual; jeans are acceptable.
